About Us

Diablitos Cantina was modeled after the authentic Mexican cantinas which are known for big flavor, and well-kept secret recipes.

Literally, “Diablitos” translates to “Little Devils” – and we hope to create an atmosphere where the little devil in you can come out to play.

Diablitos Cantina was once located in a historical rehab building that was once a post office dating to the post Civil War era of St. Louis. Sadly Diablitos closed and left this location in 2017. But its sister company was nearby and Diablitos moved in.  Joined with Sanctuaria the spirit of Diablitos was not lost and neither were the favorite recipes!

When you walk into Sanctuaria you will still be immersed in a cultural experience. Whether it’s the Mural art and firepits on the patio, Statues representing Día De Los Muertos or the vintage chandeliers in the main dining area – you will delight in the details of design.

The bar features a broad range of Tequilas, along with house-specialty infused liquors, draft cocktails, craft beers – and basically any drink you can ask for. From the top shelf to ridiculous specials, we have you covered.

The menu has combined the two sister companies and still showcases and highlight fresh ingredients and Diablitos authentic flavors. Our staff traveled to Mexico and consulted with some of the best chefs – and also street vendors. The results is a delight to your taste buds as you taste a bit of Mexico in St. Louis. This includes a variety of fresh-made salsas – rotating based on seasonality, customer demand, and chef’s whimsy.
